The Matriculation Ceremony is your first formal induction into university life at Cave Hill.
The Campus Principal, Director of Student Services, President of the Guild of Students and a Feature Speaker will address you at this enrollment ceremony. Following this ceremony light refreshments will be served. You will have an opportunity to meet other new students and university staff in a social setting. Don't forget to sign the Matriculation Register as this signifies your official entry into Cave Hill citizenship.

We are indeed pleased to welcome you as a new member of the Cave Hill Campus community. You have made an excellent choice in The University of the West Indies and more particularly, the Cave Hill Campus to pursue your academic career! We pledge to do our utmost to provide a stimulating academic and social environment in which you can grow and achieve your full potential.
The Annual Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, September 02, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Roy Marshall Teaching Complex and you are required to attend. The Matriculation Ceremony is the occasion when new students are formally recognized as members of the University community with the signing of the Matriculation Register marking their acceptance into the academic community. The success of this Ceremony is attributable to full participation of all freshers and we look forward to welcoming you to this very important event in the academic calendar.
A number of persons will be at the Ceremony to meet and welcome you including our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles; the PVC and Campus Principal, Professor Clive Landis; and other members of the Staff and Student Administration. At the end of the formal Ceremony, a reception will follow which will give you an opportunity to interact with some of our lecturers, members of the Senior Administrative and Professional Staff and fellow students.
The Matriculation Ceremony is an occasion that you cannot afford to miss.
